Steve Robertson – Founder/Executive Producer of Project Peace on Earth, LLC. and Founder/CEO of SupportVetsNow.org

Steve Robertson is a former professional motocross racer turned Fortune 500 sales executive (computer process control industry),  philosopher, entrepreneur, philanthropist and global peace event and concert producer. He is the Founder and CEO of ProjectPeaceOnEarth.org (PPOE) and SupportVetsNow.org.  On Christmas Day (12.25.11) from Bethlehem Palestine, Robertson brought his cumulative sales, marketing, production experience and acclaimed list of musical Grammy winning talent to produce the first annual worldwide Project Peace On Earth concert, a global musical prayer for peace which was broadcast to almost 80 million homes worldwide.  Major sponsorship for the concert was secured through: UNDP, The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, The Palestinian Government, The Bethlehem Convention Palace/CCC, VisitPalestine.com and the Ambassador Hotel of Jerusalem.  In November of 2011, just before the Bethlehem peace concert, PPOE and its advisory board member John Quigley, coordinated the production of a large aerial art piece of 1000 Palestinian refugee children who formed the image of the Picasso Peace Dove and the words Love All, directly under the Mount of Temptation in Jericho.  The image was taken and filmed aerially and went around the globe.  In September of 2010, Steve lead a medical mission, with famed eye surgeon Paul Dougherty, to Palestine which resulted in the restoration of eye sight (40 free cataract surgeries) to elderly people.  Michael Garcia, former VP of Development for HBO traveled with the Medical Mission to film a documentary called “Visions of Peace.” In 2009, Robertson lead a nationwide bus tour called “Peace Has Begun” that served to frame the word “peace” as a verb for social good and promote the planned annual Project Peace on Earth global musical prayer concert.  The bus was a traveling video studio that featured two broadcast journalists interviewing people on their commitment and actions towards peace. The Project Peace on Earth board consists of many of today’s top and conscious leaders in Music, Film, TV, Dance, Mobile Phone, Advertising, Humanitarian Outreach, Physics, Medicine, Higher Education, Transformational Authors, Fine Art, Yoga, Global Exploration and Entertainment industry producers.

 Jason Lehel – the first short film Jason shot was nominated for an Oscar, his second won at BAFTA.  Jason’s work in feature films, commercials and music videos eventually lead him to shooting & co-directing concert materials and videos for Bono, U2, Guns n Roses and Coldplay.  Jason produced and directed the feature “Gaia” which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and went on to win numerous festival awards.

 Shan Hashemizadeh - is the President and owner of Melli TV Channel (MTC).  MTC is a multi-cultural music video and entertainment news channel that runs 24 hours a day and seven days a week.  It is broadcast from the Galaxy 19 Satellite and also live from MelliTv.com to an estimated 80 million homes worldwide in the languages of Farsi, English, Turkish, Arabic, Armenian and Spanish.
 Peter Joseph-  is an American independent filmmaker.  He has  written,  directed,  narrated,  scored  and  produced  three non-commercial, self-produced, and  freely-distributed documentary films called “Zeitgeist: The Movie,” ” Zeitgeist: Addendum” and “Zeitgeist: Moving Forward.”  These films comprise what is called the “Zeitgeist Film Series.”   He is also the founder of the Zeitgeist Movement.

Eric Klein - CEO and Founder of CAN-DO.org (a 501 (3)(c) non-profit organization).  CAN-DO arose out of Eric’s frustration at the problems that seem to be considered “normal” in disaster situations. Time after time, emergency food, water, and medical supplies seemed to sit on docks or airport tarmacs while little or nothing reached survivors in the critical days immediately following a major disaster. Eric’s tireless efforts in the support of others have been recognized by President Clinton, Oprah Winfrey and Airline Ambassadors, an international philanthropic organization.

  Greg Spelanka: Greg is a graduate of the famed Art Center of Design in Pasadena, CA.  He has won the Gold and Silver Medals in both Los Angeles and New York from the prestigious Society of Illustrators.  He was part of the visual development team for Walden Media on the film “Prince Caspian: Voyage of the Dawn Treader”, for New Line Pictures “The Golden Compass” and for DNA Productions/Warner Brothers CG animated film “The Ant Bully.”

  Omar Akram  -  2012 Grammy winner best New Age song “Echoes of Love”.   His first album was Opal Fire on Real Music, which went Top 15 on Billboard magazine’s national New Age sales chart, and featured Akram’s piano backed by additional keyboards played by Omar and David Dial. On his second CD, Free as a Bird, Omar again composed all the music, but this time produced half the album and utilized top keyboardist Gregg Karukas to produce the other half. Omar also expanded his sound by bringing in guest musicians including saxophonist Eric Marienthal (The Rippingtons). The recording was ranked the #2 contemporary instrumental album of the year by the prestigious Wind & Wire publication.

 Marcello De Francisci is a composer who provides music to the Feature Film, Theatrical movie trailer, commercial and interactive game industry.  His music has been used in major theatrical movie trailers such as “Avatar” (20th Century Fox), “Prince of Persia” (Walt Disney Bruckheimer Films), “Night At the Museum” (20th Century Fox), “Mission Impossible III” (Paramount Pictures), “National Treasure” (Touchstone Pictures - Bruckheimer Films).  His recent collaboration with Lisa Gerrard from “Dead Can Dance” (Academy Award nominee & Golden Globe Winner) singer/composer (Gladiator/The Insider /Ali  / Whale Rider) has awarded him credits on soundtracks for films such as “Tears of Gaza” and “Samsara”, the much anticipated Baraka film sequel.

 Sussan Deyhim – famed Iranian Sufi singer internationally known for creating a unique sonic and vocal language.  She has collaborated with Peter Gabriel, Bobby Mc Ferren, Micky Hart and other noted musicians.  Her composition Windfall/Beshno Az Nev was used by U2 throughout their 360 tours in the US and Europe.

    Itai Disraeli (bass) and Hagai Or (horns) of the group MAETAR.  Their music itself is a declaration of peace, calling on Hebrew and Arabic melodies, filtering it through a rigorous jazz perspective, and the exuberance of funk, soul, and rock.    Born in war torn Israel on a kibbutz, the Maetar brothers started making music at the age of six and four. The whole family used to gather around their grandfather’s table every Saturday and jam. Hagai became an award-winning soloist and performed with Israeli orchestras and Itai became a celebrated and sought after bassist, winning “Bass Player of the year.” Itai and Hagai had a vision: to create original soulful and substantive music that reaches across cultural boundaries as an instrument of peace. Their love of soul, jazz, classical lyricism, and sacred tribal music from around the world led them to create MAETAR, a setting in which they could create this fusion of sound and cross cultural collaboration.  Their concerts for human rights and peace have brought Arab and Israeli, Muslim, Christian, and Buddhist musicians and communities together alike.   

 Alex Ebert – founder of the group Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.  Featured at the Coachella Music Festival 80,000 plus people. Performs on the new Jonathan Elias “Prayer Cycle” album called “Path to Zero”.

   Jonathan Elias - composer of The Prayer Cycle album series with performances by: Sting, Trudie, Robert Downey Jr. (actor), Serj Tankin (lead singer for System of a Down), Jonathan Davis (lead singer of Korn), Alex Ebert (Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros),  James Taylor, Jon Anderson (lead singer of Yes), Alanis Morissette, Salief Keita, Rahat Ali Khan, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Dadawa, Yungchen Lhamo, Joanne Shenandoah and others.   Lili Haydn – Rolling Stone called her music “fiery and virtuosic…”  Lili Haydn has released four critically acclaimed major label recordings as a solo artist. Lili (1997 Atlantic Records), Light Blue Sun (2003 BMG Music), Goodbye Stranger Ep (2007 Nettwerk Music Group), and Place Between Places (2008 Nettwerk Music Group).    Richard Horowitz – composer, best know for his work on The Sheltering Sky, directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, starring Debra Winger and John Malkovich, which was awarded the 1990 Golden Globe award.  Founder and Artistic director forGnaoua Festival in Mogador Morocco (500,000 people annually)

  Fritz Heede is a California based music composer/producer and multi-instrumentalist who weaves eastern and western influences into dramatic and evocative works. Equally at home with styles ranging from electronica grooves to symphonic epics to folkloric aboriginal drones, Fritz’s work is progressive yet heartfelt. Starting out as a student of flamenco guitar, Fritz soon expanded his musical palette to other exotic stringed instruments and percussion.  Fritz scored and helped produce projects for the U.N., Whaleman Foundation, Julian Lennon, the Grammies, and the Academy for Future Science. Fritz has co-written and produced a lush innovative album with Jon Anderson of YES. It is currently being reworked to be a sequel to Jon’s master peice “Olias of Sunhillow”. Additionally, he has scored the soundtrack to the film “Belonging” narrated by Dustin Hoffman. It is a scientific and spiritual journey into humanity’s footprint on the Earth.

  Mark Isham - Grammy, Emmy, and Cleo award winning composer.  Mark composed the soundtrack for the Oscar award winning film “Crash“. His musical collaborations include work with:  Sting, Bruce Springsteen & Will.I.Am.

 
Ricky Kej Internationally acclaimed Composer of Kamasutra Lounge 1&2 (USA), Fiery Drums (Virgin EMI), Mesmerizing Flute (Virgin EMI) and Featured in over 100 compilations across the globe.  He has scored and composed for 5 Indian feature movies and over 3000 advertising jingles for Nike, Levi’s, IBM, Fosters, Toyota, Air India, Arrow, etc.

Ricky won a ‘One Show’ award for Advertising Excellence and a finalist for the Cannes Advertising Award for his Nike Jingle. Hailed as a ‘World Famous Star in Fusion Music’ by Virgin-EMI and as a ‘National Youth Icon’ in India by the Rotary Club. Composed the score for 2011 Cricket World Cup Opening Ceremony. This was the highest rated sporting opening ceremony event in world.  Ricky  also owns and controls a music library for sync- www.bestsyncmusic.com. Over 200 musical clips from this library have been placed with commercials and brands.

   Alise Ketnere (Fox Lima) - She answered the call to one of the largest talent hunts in the world by one of the most famous rock groups in history called “Enigma” famed for its Gregorian-lke musical projects.  She answered the call to Enigmas song writing contest.  The rest is history.

  Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - is considered the world’s greatest Sufi /Qawwali singer.  Rahat’s family has an unbroken tradition of performing Qawwali for more than 600 years.  Rahat took over the family Qawwali party after Nusrat’s death in 1997.  Rahat’s music has been featured in Tim Robbin’s film “Dead Man Walking” which featured Sean Penn and Mel Gibson’s film “Apocalypto.” Rahat has performed with numerous high-profile musicians including Eddie Vedder, James Horner.  He tours globally.

   Ray Lynch is a multi-platinum selling composer and producer who is also considered one of the early iconic pioneers of inspirational instrumental music.  Ray is a classically trained composer and producer who began as a classical guitarist and lutenist.  He has won 3 Billboard Awards, written five albums (which included the renown “The Sky of Mind”, “No Blue Thing”, Nothing Above My Shoulders but the Evening” and “Deep Breakfast”), and sold over 2 million albums without the benefit of live performances or videos. His second album Deep Breakfast  became a classic and the first independently released album to be certified Gold and then later Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (R.I.A.A.).

For more than a decade Ray has been fully engrossed in the passion of writing a book which explored the relationship of mathematics, music and Pythagorean tuning theory.   The book also explores ancient cosmology and mythology, the nature of number, metrology, geodesy, the mathematical constants of physics, human spirituality, the precession of the equinoxes, human prehistory, and the meaning of what we call “history.”

  Kellee Maize is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Her first album, Age of Feminine, was released in 2007. Since then, she has released three more albums: Aligned Archetype (2010), Integration (2011) and Owl Time (2012). Maize has been involved in the music business just over a decade and has recorded and released three full albums leading to a handful of singles.[1] As of 2011, her YouTube videos have combined for over 4 million views, and she has over 180,000 Twitter and Facebook fans. Her albums have been downloaded over 400,000 times, and she has been mentioned in various media outlets over 200 times.[2]  e In Kellee’s words;  ”We have the power to help positively affect the world by “being the change we wish to see”, as Ghandi puts it. While this can be incredibly challenging given our human tendencies and emotions, I believe we are entering a new stage of evolution in human consciousness and hope that in the same way I am affected daily by artists and musicians that my music inspires change and awareness in the listener.”

 Gary Malkin - Seven time Emmy and six ASCAP awards winner in music in film, television & commercials.  Founder and CEO of Wisdom of the World, (a life-enhancing media production company), and co-founder of Companion Arts, (a nonprofit educational resource provider), Malkin is an inspiring speaker and performer, offering his presentations and workshops at conferences internationally. In partnership with Companion Arts, he has recently released the new care for the caregiver audio resource, Care for the Journey: Messages and Music for the Sustaining the Heart of Healthcare. Through his performances and speaking engagements, he serves healthcare and faith communities addressing themes such as acceptance, the arts in healing, and the integration of spirituality and health.  He has offered trainings, presentations, and concerts for Harvard Medical School’s Conference on Spirituality and Health, The National Hospice and Palliative Care AssociationThe British Columbia Hospice and Palliative Care AssociationThe Institute for Noetic Sciences, The Center for Integrated Medicine, (in Vancouver, Canada,) as well as the Sunstone Cancer Center, in Tucson, Arizona, among many others.

  Cofield Mundi-  Cofield Mundi’s distinctive voice and prolific songwriting ability are a powerful combination. Cofield recently released her seventh radio single, called “Look at the Sun”. Six of her singles have charted in the top ten. In 2011, Cofield charted on both South African and US radio. “I’m gonna fly” climbed to number 1 on the Ryan Seacrest Top 8 at 8 show on KFM 94.5 and Highveld 94.7 FM, as well as charting on other major AC stations across South Africa. In the first few weeks of release, “Count me out remix” made the US Mediabase most added AC single chart alongside Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Train. “Days”, similarly made the Mediabase most added single chart for Smooth Jazz alongside Sade and Dave Koz. Cofield’s two albums, Ceremony (2004) and The Big Question (2009), licensed to Universal Music Group, were nominated for Best Pop Album and Best Adult Contemporary Album (2009) respectively.   Hani Naser - a virtuoso percussionist and Oud player.    Gary Nicholson – is a Grammy winning Texas Hall of Fame Song Writer inductee.  He has written songs for Robert Plant, Jeff Bridges, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks Willie Nelson, The Judds, Emmylou Harris and Bonnie Rait to name a few.

Finbar served as CTO of Guvera, is the former CTO of Lightspeed and creative director of Fuel advertising agency. He has also written for soundtracks such as Chaplin, Jagged Edge, Parents, 9 1/2 Weeks and the recent The Singing Detective starring Robert Downey, Jr. In addition to composing many award-winning commercials such as Nike’s Move, which earned him an Emmy. Jonathan is looked upon as one of the world’s most successful composers in this field. He was responsible for creating the famous “Moon Landing” score in 1983 for the launch of MTV, the first sound mark for Apple Computers in 1994, the Columbia Pictures sound logo, and the world famous Yahoo! yodel sound mark. His company, Elias Arts, has won countless other awards including dozens of Clios (ten this year alone), multiple Cannes prizes, several London International Advertising Awards and others too numerous to note.     Michael Kang – Musician “The String Cheese Incident”, composer, Co-Founder “Our Future Now.”  The String Cheese Incident (SCI) is a band from Crested Butte and Telluride, Colorado formed in 1993. Aerial Artist John Quigley  has created over 150 Human Aerial Art images around the world on every continent and has virtually directed and coached over 100 additional images as non-commercial communications.  On  November 25th, as part of the Project Peace on Earth Bethlehem promotional campaign lead by Steve Robertson, John Quigley produced the Picasso Peace Dove / Love All image that was formed by some 1000 Palestinian UNRWA Refugee Children at the base of the Mount of Temptation in Jericho.  In September of 2012 the UN selected this image as one of the 40 most iconic images in the history of the UN (out of some 800,000 images).

 

 

 

 

John Vasconcellos, Retired former CA State Assemblyman (30 yrs) and Senator (8yrs) representing Silicon Valley, CA.  He was the former Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee for 13 years (longest in the State’s history) and as such was responsible for balancing the State of California’s $60 Billion dollar plus annual budget.  John’s  life long interest in psychology lead him to start the California State Task Force on Self-Esteem and Social Responsibility.  As a result, his is considered one of the founding fathers and pioneers of the Self-Esteem movement Nationwide.

 

  John Viscount -  He is the writer and producer of the award-winning short film, “Admissions”, starring Academy Award nominee, James Cromwell. The film tells a transformational tale about what it takes to find lasting peace, even in war-torn places like the Middle East. Featuring an Israeli couple and a Palestinian man, this modern parable is set in the Admissions Room for the afterlife. Its purpose is to start a conversation that heals.
